im looking for a new tuner and was reffered by a few of the "stang gang" members.here is what i have and what im looking for:
2007 GT 5speed
9.1:1 compression , je pistons/manley rods
stock heads,cams and phasers
t70 single turbo with air/air intercooler
gt500 pumps and ford racing harness
52# injectors
.030 gapped HTO plugs
SCT xcal 3 tuner
i have 1 bung welded in on each bung for wideband and a third bung just behind the turbo, i also have a 1/8th npt bung welded in at the "y" before the turbo to monitor the back pressure.car has alot of popping on warm up,soon as it gets to 175 degrees it runs like a champ. i know it is running very rich right now on WOT and probably does not have much timing in it, partial throttle could be alot more peppy but it is streetable.im looking to hit the 450 mark on (a) setting of the boost controller and 500-525 on the (b) setting.
1) can you monitor (2) widebands on your dyno and tune accordingly?
2) can you monitor boost on the dyno( stupid question but beleive it or not i had a tuner tell me he could not and he pulled out a mechanical gauge for me to watch while he dynoed the car,lol)
3) do you have a second boost sensor for monitoring the back pressure? not a huge deal but im just very curious about the back pressure.
4) could you do it this week?
5) can you use my SCT tuner?
6) how much we talkin?
im in lakeland, im running a temp tune from justin at VMP, he did my original tune when i was on the stock block.
