Description
Remove the rubber bushing from the rear lower control arms in your S550 Mustang and install BMR’s Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearing Kit with a Bushing Removal Tool from BMR Suspension. Manufactured from heavy-wall 3-inch DOM steel tubing with 3/8-inch steel plate, and 3/8-inch, Grade-8 threaded rod, BMR’s Bushing Removal Tool is the ultimate in strength and reliability. Unlike the competition, BMR’s kit includes a high-quality Torrington bearing and machined washers, ensuring smooth operation.
BMR has taken the guesswork and difficulty out of replacing the rear lower control arm bushings with its BRT001. In addition to removing the factory rear lower control arm bushing, this tool also allows you install BMR’s BK055 spherical bearings for the rear lower control arm, all with simple hand tools. The removal side of the tool pressed the factory bushing and bushing up out of the arm without causing any damage to the aluminum arm. The installation side is just as simple, as the BMR spherical bearing presses into the arm. The kit is design to eliminate the need for a machine shop to press the bushings out and the bearings in.
